Happy Four Months, Lucy!

I can't believe four months has passed since Lucy came into our lives. It seems like she's already grown up so much! She went from a squishy, immobile newborn to a 15 pound baby who rolls, laughs, and loves to be in the middle of whatever action is going on around her. Arianna is having so much fun being able to interact with her sister and can't wait to teach her how to crawl and walk and talk.

We feel so blessed to have such beautiful and healthy little girls bringing joy into our lives every day.

We have been blessed with so many new friends here in the past month and have been spending a lot of time with them lately. It's been a really fun and amazing week!

Wednesday, my friend Suki hosted a Mary Kay party for our friend Dawn's birthday. It was the three of us plus five other girls and their families and it was SO MUCH fun! I hope Dawn had a really happy birthday!

Yesterday, we spent the morning and afternoon over at Dawn's house with some of the neighborhood moms and babies. I cannot believe how many awesome ladies I have met out here who all have kids around both Arianna and Lucy's ages. One of the collest things I discovered yesterday? About 4/6 moms that I've met ALL cloth diaper their babies! So Lucy isn't the only one on the block with an adorable fluffy bottom. I think that is so cool! Don't get me wrong, I'm open to being friends with absolutely anybody, but it's very cool to meet other moms who are a little bit "alternative".

Thursday afternoon, the girls all got together to make hula hoops (we weren't able to make it). I tried one out and now I want to make one!

This has been such a great month so far! I'm glad that we've been able to get out of the house and spend time around other families. This year seems like it's flying by and March is almost over! April is going to be such an eventful month, I can't wait!

Before I even got pregnant with Lucy (and obviously before I knew that I would be having another girl), I bought my very first Goodmama fitted cloth diaper. "The Small and the Proud" was a diaper that she made out of the same fabric used to make the Marine Corps Combat Utility Uniform (aka, "cammies"). It was a limited edition print and I wanted to make sure I had one in case we had a boy.

When I found out that Lucy was a girl, I thought about selling it for a girlier print, but I never could bring myself to. After all, we still might have a boy someday (and I'm willing to bet that if I did sell it, I would never be able to get my hands on another one) and daddy is still a Marine so the diaper really means something to us. Today, I finally decided to put it on her.

About halfway through taking pictures, I remembered the onesie that my good friend (and fellow military wife) Cassie gave us when we found out that we were having a girl.....
