545 Days

Before I even got pregnant with Lucy (and obviously before I knew that I would be having another girl), I bought my very first Goodmama fitted cloth diaper. "The Small and the Proud" was a diaper that she made out of the same fabric used to make the Marine Corps Combat Utility Uniform (aka, "cammies"). It was a limited edition print and I wanted to make sure I had one in case we had a boy.

When I found out that Lucy was a girl, I thought about selling it for a girlier print, but I never could bring myself to. After all, we still might have a boy someday (and I'm willing to bet that if I did sell it, I would never be able to get my hands on another one) and daddy is still a Marine so the diaper really means something to us. Today, I finally decided to put it on her.

About halfway through taking pictures, I remembered the onesie that my good friend (and fellow military wife) Cassie gave us when we found out that we were having a girl.....

Lucy loves the diaper too and let me know by promptly giving it the "poop of approval" as soon as I was done taking pictures.

  1. I love it! It looks great on her, especially with the Marine daughter shirt. <3

I think I might need to hunt down the DPI for our littler one arriving soon.

  2. Thanks!

I wish I would have snagged a DPI and an Aim High (Air Force) when they were available on Sweet Camo Babytique! They're all sold out now and it seems like everybody is ISO of them :(
