To my husband: I cannot thank you enough for everything that you do for the girls. You came into Arianna's life during a time when she needed a daddy and you loved her and took care of her even though you had no obligation to and you have helped shape her into the amazing little girl that she is today. You helped me bring Lucy and Ruby into the world and continue to provide for them and protect them every day. I have such high hopes and dreams for their futures knowing that they are influenced by you. Thank you for providing them with an amazing example of how a husband should treat his wife and how a father should treat his children. I couldn't ask for a better father for my girls.
To my father: thank you for another year of unconditional love, unwavering support, fatherly advice, and help with the grandkids. I am thrilled that we will spend the next three years closer to home. Seeing my children play and interact with their grandpa the way I remember doing so as a child is one of the greatest gifts I've been given as a mother and I look forward to being able to see more of that in the coming years.
To my father-in-law: Year after year, you continue to model selflessness, perseverance, faith, and a strength that inspires both my husband and I. No matter what you are faced with, you keep moving forward with a positive attitude and faith in the Lord. Thank you for never giving up and showing us that everything is possible through Christ. We can't wait to get home and be able to see more of you!
PS: I apologize that your cards are going to be late. They were dropped in the mail today and will likely be delivered the first half of next week!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO OUR WONDERFUL MOTHERS AND GRANDMOTHERS!
My mom, Sharon Pfeifer. Thank you for loving me unconditionally even through some of my lowest and most difficult points. I know I was not always an easy child, but you never gave up on me and I hope to be half the mother to my children as you were to me as well as the grandma that my (someday) grandchildren deserve.

My mother-in-law, Leslie. Thank you for accepting me, loving me, supporting me, and being a wonderful mother-in-law and grandmother. Thank you for helping to shape my husband into the man that he is today. I hope that I do as wonderful of a job with my children as you have with yours.

My grandmother, Marge. We love you and miss you! Thank you for wonderful childhood memories of baking cookies, going to the post office, climbing the tree in the backyard, exploring in the basement, and Barbie ornaments on Christmas. I look forward to hopefully being able to bring my entire family to Kansas so that you can meet them all.

Jon's grandmother, Darrene. Thank you for always welcoming us into your home, praying for us, and being such a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother. We love you and look forward to hopefully seeing a lot more of you if we are blessed to end up stationed closer to home for the next three years.

TO MY CHILDREN: Thank you thank you thank you for the joy that you bring me, your hugs and kisses, your laughter, your beautiful drawings, and your forgiveness when I don't always get this "mom thing" right. I love you with all of my heart and every fiber of my being and I hope that I can live up to being the mom that you all deserve.
