"About half of the show will be familiar, including some of the classic characters, but not all. “The rest of it changes every single year,” said Karen Wade, owner of the 4-year-old studio. Added to the show are life-size dolls from Mortal Kombat, a popular science fiction series of games and films. “It brings everybody more into the storyline,” Wade said."
The show was great and Arianna did amazing! She has no stage fright and has been waiting for her chance to "dance on a big stage in a pretty costume" for months now. She finally got it tonight and we're so very proud of her!
The Mortal Kombat dolls and Uncle Drosselmeyer in the first scene of Act 1

The Party Scene (these were really just practice shots as I wanted to make sure that the camera was all set up and ready to go by the time Ari came out).

The very first scene of Act 2! See a familiar little face?

Absolutely LOVE this picture!

This was taken at the 2pm show. I was on my own at this one (Jon had a final so he came to the 6pm show) and was hoping that Lucy would behave just long enough for me to get a video. I lucked out and she fell asleep during intermission right before Arianna's scene.
Coming back out for the finale! The characters from each scene were supposed to come out, take a quick bow and then step back.....

The angels have taken their bow and are now moving to the back of the stage.....except one.....

She finally realizes that she stands alone....yet still doesn't move....

Everything about this picture is hilarious, but mostly the fact that she's still not moving despite encouragement from EVERYONE.

There we go!

Her first bouquet of flowers for her first dance performance!

Ta-da!
