to THREE! Birthday girl is not super into having her picture taken today so we'll try again when she's feeling happier. She woke up missing her daddy and is refusing to turn three until she's able to see him (which will be later this evening).
Happy birthday, Lucille Scarlett! The years have flown by and it just doesn't seem possible that you're already turning three. At the same time, you have such a unique personality, strong opinions, and a firm grasp of what's going on around you that you seem so much older than three. You make us laugh with your silly words and crazy antics and your own laughter is contagious. Your older sister has deemed you "the silliest", your baby sister wants to go everywhere with you (even when you don't want her to), your daddy loves how you run to him with outstretched arms when he comes home, and I am so incredibly grateful that I get to be your mommy. Lucy-cille your family loves you so much! We hope that this year brings you lots of happy memories. Preschool maybe? New friends? A dance class? You're old enough for all kinds of fun new things and I can't wait to see you experience them!
