At the Museum of Natural History
This is really all of the pictures that I got because the only other thing we got to do other than the museum was eat lunch. This is our second trip up to DC since we moved out here last year and Jon and I have agreed that the next time we go, it will just be the two of us. We love to try and do things as a family on the weekends since we get so little time together during the week, but unfortunately DC just really isn't all that fun for the kids. Lucy was hot and wanted to be held the entire time (which we don't mind holding her, but carrying around an almost 18 pound baby for hours gets tiring). Arianna got tired of walking less than an hour into the trip and was only interested in about 1/3 of the stuff that we saw at the museum. There were a ton of other things that Jon and I would have loved to see, but the kids we ready to go so we grabbed a late lunch and left. Jon and I are hoping to plan a day trip for just the two of us when we have a free weekend.
We've got a lot of exciting things happening in the next couple of weeks! Father's Day, seeing friends, traveling, and celebrating birthdays! We will have a big update when everything settles down :)
