For those of you just joining us, you can read about the past four years of Arianna's life in a nutshell, here. When we last left off, Arianna had just celebrated her fourth birthday with all of her Virginia friends!

I noticed in mid-January that she can finally say her name properly. Ever since she could talk, she pronounced her name "ArNianna." I asked her to say her name on the 17th and she said, clear as day, Arianna Bush :)

FEBRUARY:

Since the 1st, we've been in the process of saying "goodbye" to Noelani and her family. Her dad is officially out of the military and they will be leaving for Hawaii very soon. Thankfully they're able to stay just long enough for Nola to attend Ari's birthday party. It's going to be a hard goodbye and Arianna has already cried at the thought of no longer being able to play with her sweet friend :(

Today, Jon and I are taking cupcakes to Ari's classroom so that she can celebrate her birthday with her classmates and then we're going to spend all day celebrating our sweet girl. Lots of pictures will come tomorrow! Ari, so happy to be celebrating five wonderful years with you! You have amazed us every day and made us so proud over the past year growing, learning, and teaching your sister things. We can't wait to celebrate another year. We love you!

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY, ARIANNA!!!!
