12-13 Months!
Lucy turned 13 months old on Christmas! It doesn't seem like an entire month has already past since we celebrated her first birthday.Christmas Day- 13 months exactly!
12-13 Month Milestones:
Tooth #9 showed up the week before Christmas. Her first (right side) molar!
She now waves and says "hi"
She does So Big and Peek-A-Boo.
When she hears us talking to one another, she tries to join in and just babbles until we talk back to her.
She signs "milk" and says "na" when she wants to nurse.
She says "ni-ni" when she's tired and ready to go to bed.
She knows where her belly button is and tries to say "button."
She blows kisses.
Tooth #10 (molar #2, top left side) made an appearance the second week of January!
She's occasionally saying "thank you" ("da-do") when we give her something.
13 Month Weight/Height:
21 pounds 4 ounces/30 inches
13-14 Months
Dressed up for Ari's birthday party on February 11th.

22 lbs 4oz/31.5 inchesDressed up for Ari's birthday party on February 11th.

13-14 Month Milestones:
She can now go down the stairs forward. She kind of just slides down each step one at a time, but she's actually tried to walk down while holding on to the wall a few times. I'm pretty hands off (hey, that's how they learn), but this one makes me nervous!
She got her first popsicle and her first sips of juice. I feel way more guilty about this than I probably should, but I really tried to avoid sugar and juice with Arianna. It's just not as easy with Lucy when she sees Ari with those things. She still won't be getting them on a regular basis as the thought of all of that sugar on her teeth makes me cringe.
She knows where her nose is and will point to it if you ask her where it is. Actually, she sticks her finger IN her nose if you ask her where her nose is. It's only cute because she's 14 months old.
She knows where her ears are:
She is starting to use the word "more" consistently and in the right context.

See? Still cute.

14-15 Month Milestones:
She shakes her head "no" when you ask her if she wants to go to bed (not sure how I feel about this one).
She claps when you say "yay!"
She gives hi-fives.
She has discovered who Spongebob is and asks to watch it every time she sees a television.
Tooth #11 (molar #3, bottom right side) popped through the day before Valentine's Day. She's been absolutely miserable with this one and it has even given her a runny nose. Tooth #12 (molar #4) finally broke through the third week of February. We've officially got all of the molars that she'll get until she turns two. Hopefully the canines won't be too bad. She got a new amber teething necklace (with raw, unpolished beads) and I can tell a significant difference.

I forgot that she's approaching the age where the word "no" is super offensive and temper tantrums become more frequent.
