We really wanted to get our Christmas lights put up today, but it's been so rainy and cold. Plus Jon thinks we're going to need one more box of lights to have enough for the entire front of the house. We're going to pick up another box and an extension cord tomorrow after church. We were going to get the tree this weekend, but decided to wait until the 7th to see if we can get one from Trees For Troops. I just found out about this organization yesterday and was shocked to see that they are actually delivering trees to our base! For those who aren't aware, our base is pretty small and we're often not included in events or things like this. From what I understand all ranks are eligible and it's first come first serve. The best part is, it's FREE!
