It was just the girls and I again last week while Jon was gone on work related travel. It was the second week in a row that he was gone (just home for the weekend) and we are SO excited to have him back for a while. Arianna really misses her daddy when he's gone and I know that he misses us too.
So what all happened while Jon was gone? Well......

We attempted (and failed) to take nice Easter pictures. This is the only one that I got that I'm satisfied with.
I admit that the Easter picture failure was my fault. I had planned on taking the pictures at Prince William Forest National Park, but once we got there I was unimpressed. I couldn't find the area that was shown in the online photograph (see that beautiful creek and mini waterfall?) and it was just miles and miles of wooded area. I finally just turned around and headed toward the Marine Corps Museum thinking that maybe there was a nice garden or something on the grounds. No luck there either so I just gave up and decided to take them on the grass. We got a few shots in the outfits that they were in and then I changed them into their actual Easter dresses. By this time, it was getting close to 1pm. Arianna's breakfast had worn off and she was hungry and thirsty. Lucy was hot and not at all happy about being in the grass and there is absolutely NO point in trying to take pictures of cranky kids. We ended up just packing everything up and we will try again another day provided we have some more nice weather.
Hopefully now that Jon is home, I will be able to update a little bit more frequently. It's just so much easier to sit down and do this when I have an extra pair of hands!
