Just wanted to let everybody know that I haven't forgotten that it's time for a Lucy update! I'm actually really excited about this one because she has grown and changed SO MUCH since the one I did at 18 months. Her vocabulary has completely exploded and she's so full of personality! Anyway, the only thing holding it up is that I haven't had a chance to take her 21 month pictures yet. I want to do it outside and we've had some pretty gloomy, rainy days that haven't allowed for an outdoor photo session. I'm hoping that we'll have decent weather tomorrow so that we can walk big sister to school and get them done on the way back home. If I can accomplish that, I will have the entry up either later tomorrow afternoon or sometime on Friday.
In the meantime, DeAnna posted some more photos from our maternity/reveal session on her blog! I know I say it every time, but I am more and more amazed every time she does photos for us. They always turn out beautiful and I am never disappointed. If you would, please say a little prayer that she is able to make it to the birth in November! Her husband just got out of the military so their family is transitioning to civilian life right now. He was blessed with a job fairly quickly, but it involves travel so if he's gone when little Ruby decides to make her grand entrance it will all depend on whether she is able to find an on-call sitter. She is also transitioning her style of photography over to 100% lifestyle (meaning no props and very few posed shots) and a homebirth is probably about as lifestyle as it gets! I'm very excited about having her document this special occasion for us and hope that she can make it!
