1078 Days/28w6d

I was finally able to get Lucy's photos done today so I'm going to spend this evening finishing up her entry and it will be posted first thing in the morning!

For now, here is our complete maternity session with DeAnna McCasland!

Pretty sure everybody knows by now, but if not, it's a......

Ok...the night before our big photoshoot, I posted a picture of this diaper on my Facebook page. I immediately got seven guesses for "boy" on our Baby Stats Poll which I found pretty amusing! A few people thought that I did it on purpose to throw everyone off, but I really hadn't even thought about it. Daddy is a Marine! MARPAT diapers are a must for boys AND girls in this house!

Annnnnnnd the grand finale. I let the girls paint my belly. I had seen people do this as a way to incorporate kids into a maternity session and it always resulted in a couple of cute, tiny hand prints on their bellies.....

Well, my kids kept going.....

She kept going even after I started wiping the paint off and when she realized that my belly was no longer her canvas, she used her own dress in protest. Shout out to Crayola for making washable finger paint! Surprisingly no stains were left behind on anyone's clothing.

I'm incredibly happy with all of our photos and I'm so glad that we did them so that someday Ruby can see how excited her family was to welcome her into our lives :)
