I took the girls to Art From the Heart today to do some ceramic painting! It was kind of a last minute decision and if we go again in the near future, I will probably have somebody watch Lucy for a few hours and just take Ari so the two of us can paint. Ari really enjoyed it, but Lucy wanted to touch all of the ceramic pieces and then had a meltdown when she couldn't. Another meltdown ensued when she got impatient while waiting for her paint, and then a third when it was time to stop painting. It was just a little bit too old of an activity for her to really enjoy, but we still had a good time.
