It's been overcast and rainy all day. There was no thunder or lightening so we let Arianna go out and walk run around in the rain while it was just sprinkling.

After she wore off some energy, we drove out to Fairfax and went to Hudson Trail Outfitters. Jon has been wanting a pair of Vibram Five Fingers so that he can start working on improving his run time. They look a little bit strange, but a few of the guys that he works with have them and love them.

I was really surprised at how nice this store was! They've got a lot of really nice camping and outdoors equipment and there is a little wooden bridge overlooking a small fish pond right in the middle of the store.

The reason we went out there

Jon has also made quite a few more pens over the past couple of days. He picked up some different pen kits and has been experimenting with different woods. The finished product looks so much different from the original wood blank so it's always kind of exciting to see how they come out. He's trying to get familiar with how the different woods look when they're finished because he has a few people at church looking for specific colors of wood.
