It's time for a Lucy update since she had her first visit with the pediatrician today! She is two weeks old and doing fantastic!

Weight/Height:
Birth- 7 pounds 13 ounces/20 inches
2 weeks- 8 pounds 8 ounces/20.5 inches

Eating:
Lucy nurses about every 2-3 hours during the day with short nursings in between.

Sleeping:
Lucy is sleeping about four hours at a time and wakes up if she needs to eat or has a full diaper.

Milestones:
Starting to smile. Trying to lift head.

Concerns:
She has a clogged tear duct in her left (if you're looking at her) eye. Her pediatrician said that this is common and should clear up on it's own. If it doesn't at least improve by the time she's nine months old, we'll discuss what needs to be done. The first step would be sending her to an ophthalmologist, but again, that won't be for a while.

Overall, she is in perfect health and the doctor was especially happy with her weight gain. She doesn't need to go back until she's about two or three months old.
